Although I work digitally and often draw on my iPad, my creative process rarely starts there. Most of my prints begin by hand — with ink, pens, and paper. I sketch, experiment, layer, and allow the imperfections of the material to guide the composition.
Even when a design is developed digitally, it usually carries the memory of those first gestures.
For me, digital tools are an extension of the hand — not a replacement for it.
